These terms cover your use of TechRoute. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Please read them — they are kept short and plain.

1. About TechRoute

TechRoute is a free, student-made personal project run by one individual, not a company. It is a study aid for the Pearson T Level in Digital Support and Security. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by Pearson, Cisco, your school or college, or any awarding body.

2. Using the service

• Use TechRoute for your own personal revision.
• Keep your login details to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Don't misuse the service — for example, don't try to break its security, access other people's data, disrupt it, or scrape it with automated tools.

3. The content is a study aid, not an official source

The learning content, quizzes and notes are provided "as is" to help you revise. They may contain mistakes and are not a substitute for your official Pearson specification and course materials. Always cross-reference with your official sources. We can't guarantee the content is complete or accurate, and using TechRoute does not guarantee any exam result.

4. Your data

How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. You can request a copy of your data or delete your account at any time from Settings.

5. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms from time to time. If we make a significant change, you will be asked to read and re-accept the updated terms before you continue using the app. The version number and date at the top of this page tell you which version is current.

6. Liability

TechRoute is provided free and as-is. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app or its content (for example exam results, or any indirect or consequential loss). Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law — including our duties as a data controller under data-protection law.

7. Ending your use

You can stop using TechRoute and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or remove an account that misuses the service or breaks these terms.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
